Dr Deb Carnes

RN PhD
I'm passionate about work health, safety and wellbeing. My whole working life has drawn me to supporting others in this area.
Having learned through experience, backed by in-depth education I'm keen to share with others evidence-based approaches to workplace wellbeing.

My background includes:
  • extensive experience working in health, education and policy including supporting individuals in both the health and education sectors relating to workload, workplace safety and wellbeing.
  • a former academic who was member of a teaching team that developed an innovative breadth unit on the topic of resilience in emergencies.
  • a certified health coach (Wellness Coaching Australia) and professional member of Health Coaches Australia and New Zealand Association (HCANZA).
  • other formal qualifications including post-graduate qualifications in health promotion, education and her PhD which related to safety climate.
